What is your role at Pathway Legal?

As a Senior Legal Assistant, I am dedicated to delivering comprehensive legal support to our clients. Each day, I work closely with Val Hemminger and our Associate lawyers to ensure clients receive exceptional care at every stage of their legal matter. From navigating complex legal issues to providing strategic, tailored advice, our goal is to achieve the best possible outcome. In my role, I am committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail.

What should clients look for in a lawyer or law firm?

Navigating legal matters can be stressful, but the right law firm can make all the difference. Expertise, commitment, communication, and trust are essential qualities that clients should seek in a firm and lawyer alike.

What attracted you to Pathway Legal?

From the outset, I sensed a sincere dedication to empathy and understanding; qualities often lacking in more impersonal firms. Pathway's vision emphasizes on building strong, compassionate relationships with clients by prioritizing a thorough understanding of each person's circumstances and needs. This client-focused strategy, coupled with their unwavering commitment to providing support through difficult situations struck a chord with me from the get-go.

What are your interests in addition to law?

I am an avid lover of the outdoors, whether it be running Dallas road or paddle-boarding along the Selkirk waterway - being in the sunshine is my happy place! Additionally, I find fulfillment in contributing to the community through volunteer work with non-profit organizations and animal welfare causes.

What is your favourite kind of animal? 

Since childhood, horses have captivated me. Their blend of strength, grace, and enigmatic allure has always held me spellbound.
